Going to Indonesia for Metalheadz project

From the the 25th January until the 22nd of January I will be going to Indonesia for my new Metalheadz project.
VG BILD_KUNST Scholarship for Metalheadz project

New Year, good news. VG BILD-KUNST is a collecting society providing copyright protection for artists, photographers and graphic designers in Germany. They also have a cultural fund that gives away scholarships for photographic projects. I have been award one of this year's scholarships for my new Metalheadz project.

Since the begining of October I am member of OSTKREUZ – Photographers' agency. I feel very honoered to be part of this legendary collective and I am looking forward to work together with some of the best photographers in Germany.
Finalist - Magnum Expression Award

Same Same But Different was choose to one of the 20 finalist project of the Magnum Expression Award.
About Jörg Brüggemann
Born in 1979 in Herne, Germany. In 2004 I started studying photography at the University of the Arts Bremen under the guidance of Professor Peter Bialobrzeski. In July 2008 I finished my studies with the diploma project Same Same But Different (Read an interview with me in German about the project here). Since September 2008 I am working as a freelance photographer based in Berlin and since October 2009 I am member of OSTKREUZ - Photographer's Agency.
